(Day Trip) Thrilling Experience! Enjoy Naruto Whirlpools and Otsuka Museum of Art in Tokushima

This course includes boarding a sightseeing boat to view the “Naruto Whirlpools,” one of the world’s three major tidal currents, plus visits to the Otsuka Museum of Art and facilities where you can experience Tokushima’s traditional performing art “Awa Odori.”
Route: Naruto Whirlpools → Otsuka Museum of Art → Awa Odori Hall → Tokushima Station

Uzushio Sightseeing Boat (30 minutes)
The Naruto whirlpools are one of the world’s three major tidal currents occurring in the Naruto Strait. On the Uzushio sightseeing boat, you can see the magnificent whirlpools up close and experience the thrilling sensation of being drawn into the thundering, swirling vortex.
A marine promenade installed beneath the roadway of the Onaruto Bridge. Located about 45 meters above sea level, you can view the powerful whirlpools through glass floors with spectacular impact.

Otsuka Museum of Art & Lunch (120 minutes)
From ancient murals to contemporary paintings, over 190 Western masterpieces from 26 countries worldwide are reproduced and displayed in their original sizes using special technology. There are also themed exhibitions displaying representative works by artists from different eras, allowing you to experience art museums from around the world. The restaurant offers menus featuring Naruto wakame seaweed and fresh seafood.

Awa Odori Hall (60 minutes)
A facility where you can enjoy Tokushima’s world-renowned Awa Odori dance year-round. In the Awa Odori Hall, you can watch performances and even join in the dancing. There’s also a museum where you can learn about the history of Awa Odori and a souvenir shop.

Mt. Bizan Ropeway (40 minutes)
Mt. Bizan is the symbol of Tokushima City. From the 290-meter summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of Tokushima city and Awaji Island. You can enjoy the ropeway journey in the newly renovated gondolas that debuted in spring 2025.
